“Yet another western VA farm brewery. Its amazing how many of these places exist. This one is more "upscale" than most for lack of a better word. They have a kitchen. Counter service. A dozen beers plus some seltzer and beer-tails. Flights available. Lots of inside and outside seating, fire pits all that stuff. Access road is more pothole than road; take a bit of care. Beer quality decent. Nothing stood out, but nothing was gross either.“

“Really cool place. You can tell someone dropped a lot of money in the set up of this place. Huge, pretty farm brewery type location with lots of fire pits and outdoor seating. Stuff for kids too. Bar is open air in spring, plays trendy house music and seems to attract that type of crowd. They do flights, and service is good. Beer, unfortunately, needs a little work. There were a few that were definitely infected. The ones that weren't seemed alright, though not exactly stand out. Seems a little strange to me that you'd invest so much money in a place and not figure out the beer? Perhaps they are more interested in the trend of having a farm brewery than the beer?“

“Quaint little place with ciders on one side, liquor on the other (with VA’s smallest ABC store). Had the cider flight of four, then the absinthe and rum tasting. Very friendly older staff. Decent ciders, ok liquor. Must stop if on a leisurely weekend drive through picturesque Middleburg.“

“Visited with DCLawyer on a Loudoun County cidery/brewery trek. Small building with the cider tasting room in the main area, somewhat cramped absinthe/liquor tasting area to the left end of the building. Service was very friendly all around. Three ciders on draft available as part of the tasting set, all pretty solid. Also did the absinthe tasting which included two additional samples of liquor (your choice). Their almond liqueur was amazing. Bottles available to go including some not on the tasting set. Decent prices on cider, liquor, and tastings. No food though there was a BBQ truck (Hammerdown) right outside, a bit pricey but the brisket sandwich and potato salad were pretty good. Good stop overall, wouldn’t go out of my way to return but it’s a nice stop paired with the other breweries and cideries in the area.“

“Nice wooden interior and a small tasting area. Staff is friendly and they will walk you through the tasting. Pours are a bit small in my opinion.“

“I’m used to rural cideries being in farmhouse locations, so I was slightly surprised to see this one right on the main drag in a picturesque small town, in a 1949 former gas station. They do all parts of the cider production here except pressing, which is done nearby. Crowded when we visited on Veterans Day, with everyone doing the $5 cider tasting (three decent sized pours). Despite the crowds, staff took the time to explain the ciders and the liquors, and seemed to enjoy chatting about them. Ciders were mostly dry, two were sparkling, and they had bottles, growlers and mini-growlers for sale, a nice touch. At the other end of the building (which must be separate, due to antiquated Virginia laws) they have a small distillery that makes rum, liqueurs and - absinthe! We did a choose-three flight of hard liquor for $6 and watched a couple sample the absinthe, very theatrical. Ciders were tasty, the rum was OK, and the visit was fun.“
