“In my hometown, this place had not been rateable. But, there are not many places around here with any decent beer selection at all. Crap on tap but bottles from Juga in the fridge and some from Kinn, Mack, Svalbard and a few from Belgium. Unfortunately, Bankers Bar had the same Juga beers that I enjoyed at Lakselv Hotel, so I picked a bottle Witkap Pater Stimulo. A spacious, partly covered patio in front. Spacious inside too. Varied seating with bar stools or comfy sofas. Interior color in black, grey and blue/grey. Awful "russemusikk" played. First time I have ever seen a boxing machine by the bar! I visited before eleven in the evening, not busy at all. The locals arrive sometimes after midnight I guess. (Visited July 18th 2020)“

“I stayed for one night at Lakselv Hotel just to try three bottles from the local brewery Juga. The hotel restaurant and bar is hardly a beer destination, but bottles from Juga is not easy to find when the brewery is closed or sold out! Fine restaurant with tasty, local food. Friendly service. About 25 minutes walking to downtown Lakselv. (Visited July 18th 2020)“

“I arrived a Saturday in July just to find out that the brewery was completely sold out, no bottles available! And even worse; no grocery stores in Lakselv offers bottles from Juga! Luckily, I was told which local pubs had bottles from Juga. That information saved my Juga-day! But, frankly Juga; sold out in mid July? What kind of planning is that? (Visited July 18th 2020)“

“With all the official documents signed and the license given, the only brewery in the county of Finnmark today, is ready to pour and sell its beers on bottles and on kegs. A strong IPA, a brown ale and an under fermented pilsener are ready for the marked, soon to be followed by a fruit beer and a smoked porter among others. On my way from Karasjok back to Tromsø, I visited the brewery on a Friday afternoon and was guided around the brewery plant by the brewer Alf Emil who enthusiastically told me about the place, brewery, and gave me tasters of his brews. Juga Mikrobryggeri is located at a former military camp, Banak Leir, not more than five minutes walk from the Lakselv Airport Banak, and about 15-20 minutes from the central part of Lakselv. The brewery can be found in a wooden building to the left when entering the yard. An antique store is located straight ahead. This is a large store also used as a live venue from time to time, and they are licensed to sell all the beers from Juga. One of the first official appearance of Juga will be at the International Green Week in Berlin in late January 2019. Great place, welcome service and tasty beers. (Visited 02.11.2018).“

“A Vinmonopolet store with a much better selection than you'd expect in a small town like Lakselv. This is largely due to the fact that the store has a Danish boss who is genuinely interested in beer.“

“New rating July 18th 2020: Beer selection is actualy quite good, especially for a small town like Lakselv. Seems like there are many local beer geeks around in Porsanger! Friendly and attentive service. Old rating: An ordinary Vinmonopol store. But, worth a visit if you are in Porsanger and wants a good beer since nothing special are to be found in the local grocery stores in Lakselv. I bought some beers from the July release. Attentive and helpful staff.(3-8-7-x-7-10=2.8) (Visited July 5th 2014)“
