“This is a rather small Vinmonopolet bottleshop. Do not expect to find something new. This is just a convenient bottleshop for locals that want a stronger beer than those available at Coop Extra grocery store in the same small shopping center, Sveio Senter. Very friendly service, the woman at work asked me two times if I needed help. Well, I was able to navigate among about 35 beers. (Visited January 6th 2024)“

“New rating: I had been in touch with the brewer in advance to ensure the brewery was open for visitors. The brewing is more or less a hobby project and there are no regular opening times. No new beers is launched this year either. I was told that he hoped to do more active brewing in the future. Maybe we will see bottles from Salamander in more grocery stores and bars next year? (Visited September 25th 2021) Original rating: Only one beer available at our visit, but Salamander will soon have at least four different 4,7 % beers. Not sure if all will be available at the same time. The brewer gave us a brief brewery tour, and here we’re for sure talking about a tiny microbrewery! Well worth a visit if you are nearby by car. “Situated on the countryside, the brewery is located inside a new build shed at a farm. Speidel 200 l equipment is the first thing you notice when you enter through the big gate at the front. Bottled beers are sold at the premises, and as far as i know, the only place to get hold of beer from this young brewery. One beer available at our visit 13.8.16. (Visited with Bryne)“
