“This place must have dramatically improved in quality in the past 6+ years. Place is out in the outskirts of nowhere, as other reviewers have noted, but you go here for the barrel aged stuff, especially. They do great work with barrels, solid work elsewhere. Taster flights of everything, usually a few bottles not on flights to take home. Great brewery, one of the higher end ones in the area.“

“Brewpub in a casino. The ambiance is literally slot machines and old people gambling away their children’s inheritance. The beers are really not well-made. Tastes like kit beer to me. Pretty crazy to think you can have a brewery like this in Washington State in 2017.“

“Yep, it’s in a casino. You have to be a desperate ticker to come here. The taproom is near the front entrance, right next to the gambling facilities. They had 8 beers on tap, all available in a taster flight for $9 -- hard to beat that price. Service is quick and friendly, though they have no clue about the beer. Beer itself is horrible -- cheap, artificial and sometimes infected. Don’t come here unless you’re a filthy ticker like me.“

“Big warehouse type place right across from Arlington City Airport. The place was packed when I went. Over 10 beers on tap, mostly all of quite high quality. Taster trays available, though pretty pricy for a brewery ($10 for 5 samples). Service was super friendly and accommodating. Great place. Definitely worth a stop when in town or passing through Arlington on the I5.“

“A bit out the of the way the large hanger like space is open and airy with a big outdoor area. Selection was large and the beer was pretty good. It was a bit pricey and they only take cash. Food looked decent but I didn’t eat. A nice pleasant stop.“

“Skookum is in an isolated area, just in front of a local airport, and in order to pair with the buildings, it’s a warehouse outside, and a large warehouse inside too; nevertheless I like this atmosphere, and the customers here. They have a large selection, ~11 of their own beers and 3 guest taps; the beers are served well and they have a nice creamy head even in the small sampler glasses. With about 4-6 IPAs and no lame beer (Lager, Wheat), their selection can be labeled as quality. Nice touch, they offer a bowl of pretzels. Wifi available; toilets in good order; easy parking.
I recommend this place.“

“So, I did NOT like this place. When I showed up on a Saturday afternoon, it was a weird mix of bikers and high-maintenance women in clubbing clothes. The tasters were really expensive ($2/taster), they did not accept credit, and everyone who worked there (save for one person who acted like the owner) seemed entirely disinterested in their job and cared nothing for the beer. Beers were hit and miss for me, but the biggest miss was the one with isovaleric acid in there. Just not an enjoyable experience...“

“very interesting and cool brewery off the beaten path. you twist and turn into a meadowy neighborhood where a lot of the backyards are suitable for grazing livestock and, judging by the occssional barn and outbuilding sighting, some are used that way. you go down a good long stretch of muddy gravel to the very end, and youre at the home of a nice arlington area brewing family, who turn their outbuilding into a bar a few hours a week. very calm cool and collected brewmaster at the taps, somewhat put upon wife helping him out. you can kinda tell which one of them is the one who is living the dream, but its clear that north snohomish county has adopted them. the place was packed on a saturday afternoon, every table was taken. the beers are good and the vibe is ultra friendly. i could definitely see coming back, though its a bit of a haul even from my rather northerly home base.“

“Awsome place to meet and make friends. The owners are real down to earth friendly people as are most everybody you will meet there. Beer is top of the line and every one different and distinct.“
