“The ambiance is that of a worn-in, characterful Scottish pub. As soon as you enter the bar/lounge area, the barkeep says hello. He is proud of his products and makes suggestions, even though they don’t have the deepest of lists and this is by no means a craft beer destination. A little old-timey feeling. The kind of place you might sip a whisky late at night. Worth popping in just to have a look at the place (if you can, take a peek at the guest rooms--they are fabulous!).“

“Great community bar and brewhouse. Friendly service, in spite of the clear divide between who is local and who is passing through this insanely gorgeous stretch of beach. Comfy seating options with a sofa as well as high tables and bar. Good variety of beers, too, impressed with their overall quality. A little spooked by the early closing times, but they have a special "agro" license. For further tipple, you can head over to the Pickled Fish, which is a pretty nice place itself.“

“Historic property that is one of the few places to get a beer when North Jetty closes. The pub is great atmospherically and had a couple of beers I’d not seen before. Friendly vibe in there, too.“

“Relaxed locals place, with lots of house beer on tap. The house beer tends to be pretty good. Friendly service, nice couches and peanuts. Only thing I don’t like it that it closes really early.“

“Stopped in on a Friday night just before close and we were the only ones in there. Sampled all their beers on tap, which were quite decent quality, with several pretty nice ones. The brewpub is very cozy and inviting, and the guy working when we were there was super friendly and accommodating. Prices are very reasonable. Worth coming to if you’re near the area (including the drive over from Astoria). Recommended place.“

“Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon at the height of tourist season. The place was half-full already, with a mix of locals and visitors alike. This is a welcoming place, with friendly and attentive service. Sampler trays available. There are windows inside that look into the brewspace, which is pretty cool. They don’t offer prepared food, but do have free peanuts, as well as an assortment of snacks, sodas, coffee and tea for purchase. Solid beers, great prices, great vibe. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area!“
