“Stopped in after rafting trip on the White Salmon river which I highly recommend. Cool brewpub vibe in center of town. Nice patio but ate inside which has lovely view of Mt Hood from only like our table and one other. Food was excellent higher end brewpub. I got the hotdog if day with cream cheese , grilled onion and jalapeños. So good. Mostly ipa styles.“

“Stopped by on way back from Portland. Friendly, typical bar vibe, small town feel. Nice wait staff was generous with the pours and attentive to our needs. Patio looked awesome, wish the weather was nicer“

“Went here on a Saturday afternoon. Way more laid back and chill than anything in Hood River. Beer was delicious as well. The Hoppy AF is outstanding. Service was excellent, servers worked great together transferring my tab from inside to out and back inside again. The patio would probably be better if it wasn't so smokey. Can't see Mt Hood at all.“

“Visited on a Sunday afternoon. There is a nice porch with seating outside but inside looked comfortable too for a day when the weather is not as nice. Staff was friendly, but maybe not enough of them. The burrito was filling, hand made chips were good. Large beer selection of approximately 14 beers.“

“Visited here, for the second time, on the way back from the Tri-Cities. A bit of a drive over from Hood River, but well worth it. First of all, because it’s very comfortable -- an open floor plan with a lot of wood and a porch that overlooks the Columbia gorge. Second, I like the beer that they’re doing here, and thirdly, the food is quite good. (Better than pFriem, since they’re now running in the same circles.). It’s a really nice place in a not-oft-visited side of town, and i think you’ll like it for that reason. Worthy.“

“The excellent view of Mt. Hood is one of the virtues of this brewpub. Their beer is good although I didn’t try anything great. Friendly service. A few guest taps in addition to 11 taps of their own brews. Decent beer; very cool place to drink itl“

“We were doing the Breweries in the Gorge tour (earned the glass too!). You needed 8 of 12 breweries stamped on your tour passport. This was the only one of 3 in Washington we got...the rest are in Cascade Locks area and Hood River. The day we visited the weather was fantastic and you could see Mt Hood from their deck. This is a fun place with a very large selection of their own beers...24 the day we visited! Believe it or not...we were able to get a combined set of flights with all 24 at one time...don’t know if this is a normal practice for them...but the staff was very kind and accommodating. In spite of all of the positive information I’m providing here...I do wish the beers were better (and that’s what we’re here for)...don’t get me wrong...nothing is bad...but few were above average and none great. The decent ones were the Country Boy IPA and the Cash Stout oatmeal stout as well as a special called Hoppy AF II IPA (closer to a double actually)...and I can’t help mentioning the Pucker Huddle Porter if not for the great name alone. This is definitely a great place to stop...for the views, the atmosphere, the staff, and the food...you’ll have to make up your own mind on the beers...but you will enjoy your visit.“

“Sat out on the deck, sunny day,, great view of north face of Mt. Hood. They make good beer here; would appreciate a little more variety. Burgers are very good--juicy, good add-ons, bun with stands. Service was friendly but maybe understaffed--didn’t see her much & my water never re-filled. Very nice inside as well, cute down town of White Salmon.“

“Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday. Nice looking place. The service was great. The four brews that we tried were all good, with the red sour being great. We only had the nacho, but they were outstanding. This is a place to stop at on the 14.“

“Stopped by for lunch at around 1.30pm on Friday 24/05/13 whilst en route from Bend to Hood River. Medium sized room, modern stylish decor with wooden floor and bench style seating, the walls were adorned with the work of local artists, inside was about 50% full but the buzz was out back where there is a good sized patio overlooking the river giving great views. We were lucky to bag the last table out here and I proceeded to work through a tasting flight $11 for 11 house beers - great stuff. As well as the 11 house beers on tap there is also a guest, Green Flash - Saison Deigo on my visit. The service was really good, friendly, prompt - despite the tail end of a busy lunchtime rush, and attentive. The food was top draw too, some of the best I’ve had in a brewpub, the Mac’N’Cheese was the bollocks! House beers were all OK, nothing too amazing but all decent enough representations of style. To be fair just looking at my notes the IPA was pretty decent for me, a 3.7. In all - a good all round brewpub experience for both beer and food - well worth stopping by!“

“Visited here in August ’12 for lunch. Nice simple decor, spacious and inviting - outside seating as well. Set in a neat little town high above the Columbia Gorge across the river from Hood River, Or. Had about 10 of their own on tap - all three were pretty solid no real boundary stretchers - also some guest tap - about six or so. Food was excellent - son and I both had burritos which were very tasty. Service was prompt and friendly. Worth the $1.00 toll to come over from the more popular Oregon side of the gorge.“
