“Nice location across the street from the lake. Boxy beer hall that has a great viiew, but feels a bit empty despite being a 1/3 full in mid afternoon. The food I had was fairly decent and prices only seemed a touch high. The beer is better fresh at the brewery, but in general it is hard to find anything that rates over a 3.0. It was however a great place to stop at the end of a bike trip around the lake and the beers hit the spot. Certainly worth the trip if you are at Tazawako, but otherwise give it a miss.“

“A place with a lot of potential that is being wasted. Huge beer hall overlooking a pretty lake. When I was there, in the evening, there was one other family there, and about 200 empty seats. Beer mediocre but drinkable. Staff uninterested in doing their job. The same 40-second snippet of muzac playing over and over! Food tiny and well over-priced. It was actually annoying. Go to the other place with a similar name--it’s much better. Here, they probably only really focus on lunch-time bus tours.“
