“Definitely feels like this place got stuck in the 70’s or something. Food is fairly average and home-ish but still worth a stop when travelling the area, in order to enjoy most of the Atsugi beer lineup at very good prices, Hopslave usually being the main attraction. Takeaway bottles also available for a few year-round brews.“

“Really liked this place. Bit of a walk from the station but we got a cab as it was raining pretty hard. They had 6 of their beers on and a few bottles. Prices are good. Was pretty happy with the ¥505 medium size but when I ordered a pint of their stout to finish was astounded that a glass that big could only be ¥610. Must be at least UK pint size. Food was nice too and pretty reasonable. Friendly staff and good service plus interesting decor! Some of the stronger beers are a little bit more expensive. I think the Hopslave was ¥900 for one of the big glasses which is still a pretty good price. Think there was a ¥300 service charge but maybe that was because we were at a table. Can soon make that up though. Don’t have much reason to come to Atusgi but if I am passing by will definitely come again.“

“20 minute walk from Odakyu Honatsugi Station. Old-fashioned long bar downstairs, restaurant upstairs. I visited the former. Crazy ’70s atmosphere. Their beers are decent, some better than others, but best here on tap. ¥610 a pint, so pretty darn cheap. Far from Tokyo, but worth a stop if you are in the area.“
