“New craft beer spot in downtown Buckhannon, right on Main Street. Was sorely needed. Their shtick is combining a coffee shop with a craft beer bar, with some decent food as a kicker. It looks and feels much more like a coffee shop than a bar, and the service is really focused on those in line for coffee or food orders over those sitting at the small bar. That said, staff are very friendly, very accommodating with tasters. Flights of four, can add on additional 4oz pours if you ask nicely. Prices are central WV cheap. They really focus on having at least half the taps pouring local WV beers. I ticked seven new WV beers, including ones from three breweries I had never heard of. Oh, and they somehow had Founders CBS on tap too. This isn't a destination place if you are more than 25 miles away, but is a must-stop if in the area.“

“So now that I’ve been to both CJ Maggie’s locations, I can say that they really are similar. This one is also very centrally located in the center of town. Food menu looks the same, food is huge portion comfort food. Beer list was slightly different, still small, with a handful of local things. Either of these is worth a stop as you pass through the area.“

“There are two CJ Maggies, this one and one in Elkins. Both CJ Maggies are about the same. This location is in the heart of the town. On the street parking or a small parking lot on the corner, half a block away. Quirky restaurant with lots of wood and lots of signs and decorations. Nice portions of good quality hearty food. Bottle beer is pedestrian BMC with a few other main stream selections. Taps they usually have a couple WV brews.“
