“Visited on a Saturday afternoon by arrangement with owner Ben. Be sure to take good notes when getting directions - I missed the correct gravel road off of gravel road turn several times, and this is in the heart of the national radio quiet zone so cellphone and google maps service is spotty at best. Once there, really enjoyed the informative and friendly tour and conversation with Ben. He gave free samples of everything he sells, and offered refills. Really cares about his craft and product. Left with a case of assorted nottles. I am very glad I made the effort to visit.“

“This place is located out Snyder Road and is actually Ben, the brewer’s, farm and home. His meadery is set up away from his house in what made me think used to be a barn. The space is filled near to the brim with honey collecting and fermentation vessels filled with mead. This is where you can try his meads and buy bottles. Ben was super informative and very friendly. It was great to talk beer and mead and the budding scene in West Virginia. We even did an impromptu beer trade. This place is very cool and I would love to come back some day. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the meads evolve over time. If you are wanting to visit this place, make sure you call or email ahead of time.“
