“The first new Pizza Port location in quite some time, this one located steps from beautiful Imperial Beach. It's designed very similarly to the others, with communal wooden tables, a nicely set-up patio, and separate order counters for pizza (vegan options now!) and plenty of beer. Flights of 4 x 3 oz available for ($9, tax inclusive) -- at least that was the prize for my 3 x IIPAs and a porter), a very good deal. Beer styles haven't changed at all, not kowtowing to trendy hazies and adjunct-laden styles, content to hammer you over the head up with WC IPAs and whatnot. Unfortunately, 2 of the IIPAs on my flight had diacetyl problem, a very surprising problem to encounter at Pizza Port -- hopefully that is not indicative of the overall quality of Pizza Port beers nowadays. Overall, another nice Pizza Port location that's worth checking out if you're nearby.“

“Chill beach hangout spot with a laid-back vibe. They have an interesting dynamic for flights (perhaps the same at all locations?) - five beers of your choice, plus a Mike Hess glass, for $15. The glass can be brought back for a discount pour, Monday-Thursday. I kind of wish there was an option for a cheaper flight without the glass, as an out-of-towner. There is a taco stand on site as well for quick bites.“

“This Coronado location abounds with children and is quite loud. The parking lot fits about 6 cars, so if you are not one of the lucky few, it's paid street parking for you. You order at the counter and a server brings your food while you sneak away with a beer. The beer was meh on my recent visit.“

“THEY ARE OPEN!!!! Very good beer selection here and liquor selection but were talking beer here! They have everything from the newest belgians to locally known breweries like Alpine, Ballast Point, Coronado. They sometimes even carry Pliney the Elder. Hands down a very very nice liquor store must stop by if in the area!“

“This place used to have a huge selection and variety of Belgians, imports and U.S. micros but in the last year or two it has really toned it down with what the owner will put on his shelves. I used to be a regular at this place but because of the high prices and the same inventory on hand i rarely stop by anymore. The owner is laid back and friendly person but every once in a while he wont be working and theyll be some shady guy on the register who tries to rip people off. Worth your time if your in the south bay of San Diego but not a store to seek out and visit.“

“Pretty decent liquor store. It’s odd to me that there are two good stores in the wasteland of Imperial Beach. But, make no mistake, this place is not nearly as good as South Bay Drugs & Liquor (also in I.B.). Ashur has lots of belgians, for sure. Prices are pretty good. Not that great in terms of U.S. micro brews though. They have a nice cooler which houses lots of nice german stuff too. Worth checking out if you’re in the area, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.“

“Wow!! If you want anything that you cant get at bevmo, go to this place! Hidden behind a Carls jr. in Imperial Beach.. Theyve got glassware, tshirts, Belgium, Trapist, Locals... Lots of highly rated and very rare beers (No westys though). I dont go to Bevmo since i found this place.. The owner tastes every beer befor he decides to sell, very knowladgable.“
