“Stopped in on my way out to a friends lake house. A nice newer facility with a decent sized tap room and a good amount of patio seating. Service was a bit slow as they seemed a bit understaffed by our server was quite exuberant and knowledgeable about the beer. They had 8 beers on tap, 4 standards and 4 rotaters with some smaller pours available. Food was a combination of dips & cheese boards (apps) and sandwiches (entrees). Overall they were solid. Prices were fair. I enjoyed my visit and will stop in again.“

“Wow where to begin with this horrible experience. My fiancé and I visited around 3:30 on a Friday. We sat at the bar and were the only customers there, aside from a woman talking to the taproom manager. He didn’t bother to acknowledge our presence, as he was airing out the breweries dirty laundry. As we sat at the bar, he was expressing how him and the bartender were the only ones who did anything and how worthless everyone else was and how even owner "just sits in the office." We were pretty shocked, he would be having that conversation in the taproom in front of customers. As the place started to fill he continued on an arrogant rant as two people he appeared to know showed, and he catered just to them. Again overheard from the other end of the bar where rants about how he hated Minneapolis, and how pretentious everyone is and how "Minneapolis needs to stop trying to be New York." Yep, we’re from Minneapolis! I’ll say it is really nice looking taproom and brewery, and aside from the jackass of a taproom manager there were other glaring issues. I ordered a Pilsner and my Fiancé the 8 Knot IPA, to our surprise they didn’t have any more kegs of IPA. "What? Out of kegs of your flagship IPA on a Friday afternoon." I thought it was a joke, but she accepted a can instead. I was also taken back that there beer menus and beer board had a beer on it that wasn’t yet finished. While we were there three people asked for it. The taproom managers rude sarcastic response was "that ones not finished yet so you’ll have to wait until next week." Why are you advertising in two spots in the brewery it is then? I can understand it being on the menu for the future, although really not acceptable, but listed on the wall as available is ridiculous. Then to act like a jerk about it to customers too? Wow. The bartender himself was very pleasent and nice. However, it was funny the amount of time he spend raving about Oliphant once we said that was our next stop. We did notice three other employees, or volunteers I guess as the taproom manager had stated, who seemed to be lollygagging around not doing much. We also overheard the taproom manager tell the same people something about their tour guide telling everyone how the beers and brewery were great but the customer service sucked. He agreed! and so did we... The taproom manager really needs a lesson in customer service and how to keep his mouth shut. I find no reason to ever go back. New Richmond is already out of the way and I have no interest in going back after everything we saw, and the beer really wasn’t that great. I’ll stick to the brewpub and not waste my time going back to the New Richmond. Better to head straight to Oliphant.“

“The owners of the store are great. They are very friendly and hlepful with finding what you want. They are willingly to get the products you want as long as they can get it from their distributor. This is what I called going beyond expectations for customer service. Also, don’t let the price scare you, they have calculated the tax into the price (meaning tax included in the price). Do not let the size of the store fool you either. For a small liquor store they have a better beer selections than the other liquor stores in town.“
