62 /100 WAUNFAWR A roadside place next to their campsite (where we stayed). In Snowdonia national park. Terrace with some tables and larger inside place. Started a bit empty when we arrived but got semi-full later in the evening. Nice staff. At the time only 3 of their beers, but all of them really nice. |
54 /100 WAUNFAWR On the edge of the Snowdonia National Park on the main road to and from Caernarfon, this holiday complex is open to all and has a large car park in front of the weathered looking main building where the bar exists. There was a full range of its own ales available and and a number of picnic tables next to and on the sloping grassy area out front. |
68 /100 WAUNFAWR A large pub with some interesting own beers offered. 5 house casks, some other kegs. Large terrace. Food was nice and tasty, good meat they have there. |
56 /100 WAUNFAWR Hotel lodge like building about 10 or 15 minutes southeast of Caernarfon. Unassuming looking brewpub along the Welsh Highland highway with a campsite and restaurant inside. Only a couple of their own real ales on tap of fair quality. Food was bland and uninspired. Was nearly empty on a Thursday evening with little atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. |
