“In the domestic terminal, which I seldom visit, but when I do visit I try to see what's on tap. Usually not much, maybe one seasonal, and some of the regulars. Airport pricing and service is what it is. Has the benefit of being the only place with craft beer at that terminal.“

“A good spot in Richmond where you can find a bunch of singles, even from reputable breweries. Not a destination store, more of a supplemental store. But it's across from Foody World, which is the best grocery store you've never been to.“

“They were the only LDB in Richmond to carry this year's Fuller's Vintage Ale, and I found one other beer there as well. That's well over the odds for beer selection at a government store. But it's still a government store, so don't expect much. Service was good though - they had to go in the back to get something for me and were good about that.“

“I can say with certainty that this store sucks for beer. Good selection of Asian liquor, though. But yeah, my main purchase here is either Bitburger or Shaoxing wine, which tells you all you need to know about this store as a beer destination.“

“One of two bowling alley brewpubs that were opened. (The other turned into Freddy's Brewpub in Kelowna). This area is so odd - they built this big entertainment district in the middle of buttfuck nowhere at the end of No. 6 Road, but it's all one-off places you go to. No walking around. No milling about, socializing or any of that stuff. Just drive to whatever your thing is, go there, sit down and shut up. So Monkey 9 is the third iteration of this brewpub, and the beers are hit and miss. The best use case is as an escape for parents while their kids see a movie or have hockey practice. I don't hate it, but it's a throwback to an older era of brewpub.“

“Bright white painted location in the middle of Steveston. Easy access to the waterfront. Not sure if I've ever eaten here, but it's the main outlet for their beer (brewed in the industrial park near F&W). I like the place, even if they don't rotate the beers a whole lot.“

“Apparently I never reviewed the place, though I've been many times. Well, it's still the same industrial park taproom, though they have more outside seating now. I'd rather get beer to go and drink it by the river, but that's just me. Anyway, under new ownership the beer isn't what it used to be, so it's not as appealing.“

“Small place in the middle of Steveston. I popped in on a rainy Friday night and it was full of locals. Service was good, beers were okay. I like the cozy feel of the place.“

“Beautiful place in Steveston area, with nice patio area and small dining room with a big communal table, and a few small tables. Flight available for 9.50$. Beers are ok, nothing special. Food menu focused on seafood and burgers. Only if you are in the area.“

“Located in the B-gates area of the Domestic terminal, turn left as soon as you go through security and you’ll see it. 6 house beers on tap, nothing special, just their regular locals. Flights of 4 x 5 oz. pours for not too bad a price for airports. It opens early, so you can always grab a quick morning beer if need be. Nothing special here, but nice to finally have a [semi-]craft brewpub at YVR.“

“Certainly better than the previous two incarnations of this brewpub. They’ve cleaned it up a bit and redesigned it, but it’s still the same basic place. 10 beers on tap, which includes 6 regulars and 4 rotating ones. I was impressed with ISA and brown ale, but the rest weren’t exactly dialed in too well. Only $6.50++ for a flight of 4, and $4.25 and $5.50 for a sleeve and pint, respectively. Not worth a special trip, but if you’re seeing a movie out here, may as well pop in.“

“A pretty typical airport bar with mediocre overpriced food and clueless service. What it does have is some craft beer and flights which is quite new for YVR. Not hard to find a tick or 2 although it is all Stanley Park.“

“Out in Richmond's entertainment complex this brewery restaurant is standard sports bar fare. It also seemed to be really popular with the older crowd who were whiling away their time in the quiet afternoon when I visited. Service was friendly and the bartender improvised some flights since many of their own brews were already sold out. Why they sold out is a bit of a mystery as they aren't the finest craft beers in the area, but good on them for the business. It's hard to recommend this place but for some of us suburban locals you might find yourself out this way and it might be worth a stop.“

“I swear that was Rosamund Pike behind the counter. Classic video games available to play for free. Sports on the telee. Pop music on the speakers. In short, something for everyone. Nice spot, though a little out of the way.“

“Right on the water in charming Steveston this restaurant front end for the brewery is a pleasant and very busy restaurant. Service was great and I tried their clam chowder which was excellent. Flights were available, though sadly their collaboration brew on the menu was unavailable. Also I was served cider with ice in it without asking, but otherwise a great place to get a meal in the area. The beers are pretty good too, but prices are a little high compared to the more austere brewery tasting rooms in the city.“

“Just a place in an industrial park. Bar in the center with a store and NES arcade on one side with a big screen showing sports with couches and an open wall to viewing the brewing tanks. A piano is also there for the live music nights. The whole place has capacity for 60 people but realistically about 30 would be a bit uncomfortable. Has about 8 taps going at about $2 a taster. Limited food options - sandwiches, cheese, and thin crust pizza. Staff know their stuff and explain the beers perfectly.“

“Has a walk-in cooler for the beer selection while the wines are left outside. The cashier at the time didn't know much but did point me in a direction for a few beers. I'm from out of town but the prices are typically lower than the US e.g. $2.10 CAD for a 350 ml can. $9 and up for bombers. Seems like a 100+ bottle/can selection of local brews so you might want to do your research before you go. That being said, they do have free wifi and that does help a lot.“

“Same space as the late BRB, the furniture may be the same, but I didn't remember so many screens, so this place must plan to attract people on game days; the many fruit flies around my glass (in winter!) make me wonder about the hygene; up to 12 beers on tap, they started pouring their own beers in January, so a month later there are 6 guest taps (lamish local beers) and 5 own beers, which are very boring with no standout and a couple are slightly problematic. Food prices are regular for Vancouver, maybe on the expensive side for this place (16-17$ for burgers, 15-18$ for pizza). Not worth a stop, besides for the ticks. Hoping that the skills of the ex-homebrewer improve over time, and maybe dare a bit more (I mean, a 5% IPA in 2018...).“

“In a back area more industrial than anything else. Imagine a sort of commercial man cave with TV’s and video games. Staff is nice and brewers are usually around. Selection is all the mainstays plus seasonals and the odd one off. Prices are OK, flights are available and beers are solid. A nice stop if you are in the area, but hard to justify the trip otherwise.“

“Nestled in a lovely part of Steveston, this is a cute little place. They only had three house beers on tap when I went, plus two guests, though I understand they’re just getting started. The beers themselves were fairly mediocre; hopefully they become a little more ambitious. Service was super friendly. Prices were high - $7.50 for 3 samplers plus tax came to $8.63 (so about $10 after tip for 3 tasters) - too much. And I know it’s Steveston, but the kitchen stunk of rotting seafood, which interferes with the experience. I’ll be back in a few months to try the place again.“

“A great new tasting room in craft beer-starved Richmond, just off Steveston Highway and very close to Hwy 99, so quite a convenient stop. Modern tasting room, with a lounge on one side and growler fills on the other, with arcade games. About 8 beers on tap when I went, a good variety and of very good quality -- certainly higher than average BC quality. You can order any beer in a $2 taster or larger pours. They have limited food options too (including a veggie bento box). Open hours are very convenient. Definitely worth a stop when out this way and the best place to try as many Fuggles & Warlock beers as possible.“

“Stop in if walking by, but don’t go here. A few km away is O’Hares which is actually good, this place has a limited selection and at that nothing interesting. You may get lucky with an old release, but it is unlikely.“

“Quite nicely located on the water, I can see more value here during the summer. We only had snacks and no larger food. The beer list is not impressive, but in the Richmond wasteland it’s still something; half is macro, and half is common micro.“

“Adding this one to the map because the choices in Richmond are scarce. The liquor store area is medium sized; it’s immediately evident that they target beachgoers and maybe boaters because the bulk of the beer is macro crap in large boxes; but there is also a cooler with about 50 craft beers, all BC with 2 or 3 exceptions; the most notable part of it are the three bottles of Barley Wines and Imperial Porter that are not available anymore in other liquor stores because "off season"; also the Howe Sound Pumpkin is off season ;-) and therefore I would carefully look for the BBD before buying anything hoppy here. Prices seem in line with other places; unfortunately they went for the "screw the customer" option of not including tax in the price.
So, if you are stuck in Steveston, this place will have a beer fix for you; if you are not in Steveston, stay where you are.“

“Open and airy, very different that a typical BBQ house. Lots of free Parkin in a really nice area known for seafood. Small tap list that isn’t very exciting, but a nice bottle list that is. Prices are all over the map, from good to bad. A bit of mess for the beer geek and flights are available but kinda pointless with such a. Small tap list, also over priced. BBQ is Sub par and overpriced for what you get. I would give this a miss.“

“A small store where all beer is in a cooler, which is a nice touch. Manager is a geek and fun to talk too. Selection is small but interesting, you are likely to find stuff that is sold out elsewhere. Prices are good, especially for the weird stuff. A good stop in Richmond.“

“Old Irish styled pub with lots of seating and a patio. Service is decent, but not craft centric. Selection is the usual stuff you find all over BC with a few odd surprises. No small pours, only full pints, and high priced. I didn’t eat. An OK place, pretty decent for the area, but not worth a trip.“

“To my knowledge this is the best beershop in Richmond; just nextdoor from the pub; all the beer is in the walk-in cooler (bring your coat!). They have 200 beers, a lot of BC and some interesting import; I have seen also a couple of beers that I haven’t seen elsewhere. No Ice Cider, no Mead, and I can’t remember seeing any interesting Cider. The prices seem to be in line with the ones in Vancouver, sadly.“

“Very nice Irish pub atmosphere, warming, with local seniors enjoying their lunch and their beer; the library room especially seems cozy. One of the few places in Richmond offering some true craft beer on draught. But if they call themselves gastropub, they should do some effort to improve their food: our was very average (we had fish and chips, and chicken pot pie). Wifi available but not properly working.“

“A decent sized retail store in a plaza. Service is good with a basic knowledge of beer but nothing particularly helpful. A large selection of locals with some decent imports. The reason to come here is for hard to find Driftwood. I found all the sours on the shelf 6 months after release when the rest of the city was dry.“

“For the number of taps and bottles they have, they have a pretty crap selection of beers. Lots of macros and some generic micros mostly. Prices are okay, service is decent and the atmosphere is fine. Okay place to hang out and drink a few Unibroues if you have no where else in the area and you want some beers out. Other than that, not a worthy craft beer establishment.“
