38 /100 The Beer Company Naucalpan (Grocery Store) AV. MEXICO #41-A, COLONIA LAS AMÉRICAS, STA CRUZ ACATLAN Located in the middle of nowhere. Bottles were behind a glass, so we couldn’t see all that were available. Clerk told us that "it is a myth that beer expires" when we told him that we wanted to check the expiration dates of the bottles (yeah right!). It makes me angry when sellers try to fool us with that. Overpriced and with a very limited selection. |
60 /100 The Beer Company Naucalpan (Grocery Store) AV. MEXICO #41-A, COLONIA LAS AMÉRICAS, STA CRUZ ACATLAN Randomly located with little reason to go if you’re not a local. Alright selection, although the beers are behind glass for some reason so you have to ask for them one by one. Very pricey. Both Mexican locals and imports are ridiculously overpriced. Not amused with the clerk trying to sell me IPAs that expired in 2014 saying "it’s a myth that beer goes bad". Be careful with the best before dates if you plan on visiting! |
68 /100 City Market Magnocentro (Grocery Store) BOULEVARD MAGNOCENTRO #26, LA HERRADURA A luxury division of Comercial Mexicana supermarkets similar to Fresh Market. Best place I found in Mexico for local beers and some imported from Europe. They have Cerveza Potro, Minerva, Lion, etc. |
78 /100 City Market Magnocentro (Grocery Store) BOULEVARD MAGNOCENTRO #26, LA HERRADURA It’s a sort of supermarket but only for imported and exotic stuff, I found a whole hall full of beers. I picked like 25 but in the way to the cashier two of them were missing. |
