SO ALL THE REVIEWS ARE CONSIDERED TOO OLD !!Very nice and modern bar just on the famous seafront of alassio.. They stock often beers from bamberg and Franconia ( monchsanbach lager, ganstaller , Hummel etc ) but they also sell Italian micros ( birtificio Italiano , brewfist , toccalmatto ,del borgo etc) .. The food it’s basically tasty salads , sandwiches and burgers .. Good vibe with a good mixed crawd enjoying the good beers served always in good condition .. They are open till late in summer time everyday and in winter just at the weekend .. Quite famous as a cocktail bar too !!! Just some adds .. They held some beer fests 1 with beers only from Franconia 1 with beers only from UK and the biggest one at the end of August with beers from Europe .. They store some sour beers as well now like cantillon / hanssens / 3F / beerbrugna loverbeer .. Good !!!“ |

In beer talking the town is getting the place to go !!! " L’angolo della Birra " has 4 Taps and a hand pump with a always changing selection of craft beer especially with Italian micros from north of Italy ( rurale, lariano, menaresta , brewfist, orso verde ) and sometime German ( Franconia ) , English or USA ale ... The kitchen it’s genuine with the Classic Italian dishes ..the bar is just on the main road in the town centre easy to find after a 5 minutes walking from the rail station .. REVISITED AFTER THE REFURBISHMENT.. They improved a lot the ambience and now the place changed completely! There is a nice long bar with 8 taps and 1 Handpump pouring a very good selection of italian ( mostly ) and foreigners beers .. The place is very much food focused too with pizzas and dishes from the Italian tradition well cooked and with a honest price ... The 3 guys who run the mangiatoia are very known in town for their enthusiasm and for making well welcome anybody pass their door .. A good place under all the aspect !!“ |

They have 4 for beers on tap and one hand pump, that was the angolo delle birra, now they have refurbished the places and they have changed the name "LA MANGIATOIA CRAFT BEERS" and nove they have a new kitchen and 8 beers on tap and one hand pump, lot of quite strange selection in bottle with some acid beers.
A must visit place in the beautiful small town Alassio.“ |
