| 62 /100 401 MAIN ST. “Not really true, since there was no ledge where you could step off into the void. A large older saloon type building on the main drag. Long serving bar and some restaurant tables, no outdoor area that I saw. Beers were pretty mediocre. Food was comfort food. Easily skipped.“ |

The bartender was very prompt, and while not talkative, was certainly helpful and friendly. The menu looked like a normal pub far, although the plates we saw looked pretty enticing. Standard $4-5 pints, and $2.50 half-pints, but sadly, no flights or tasters. The selection was poor, and clearly aimed at the non-craft drinker, with two described as ’light and drinkable’. Still, a fun place, if you’re in the area.“ |

In addition to the three house beers, which were terrible, your options are Stella and Guinness. The Stout, Brown Ale and IPA each had pretty significant problems, such as autolyzed yeast and hard seltzer water carbonation. Bad beer, average food, poorly managed staff, and small town run down ambiance, sadly that’s enough to make me never return.“ |

We ate appetizers and kids stuff which was all pretty good. Ambience is a bit old west with a 1980s feel. Worth a stop if your in the Canon City area.“ |
