“I think this place must have improved since those early ratings. I stopped because the timing was right for a lunch enroute. They still had their large patio open in October despite chilly weather. Inside is very much a restaurant. Beers are available in flights of six and the maltier ones were tasty enough. Pizza was fine. You can sober up afterward with a short walk up Lookout Mountain.“

“Small town brewery trying hard to be a brick oven pizza joint. Most of their beer is yeasty, a lot of it dirty, some you could say infected. The rest is just boring. I was just about into the mountains for the weekend so ordered a pizza for take-away, and though the mozzarella and tomato and basil were flavorful, the pie was under-cooked and the crust soft and chewy :/ YMMV.“

“Great place for such a relatively remote destination. They had 12 beers on tap when we were there and they ranged from average to very good. The pizza was excellent (great crust), it is worth stopping in here just for the pizza. Small patio in the back was nice. Really a great stop.“
