80 /100 PIAZZA XX SETTEMBRE 17
“Quite a nice place, in a little (but touristic) tuscan village. There is a good choice on tap (maybe 6 or 7 beers, if I remember well), even if we can find some industrial german beers (Ayinger Weisse) mixed with the local production. Food is not so expansive, and good. Nice place to drink and eat something between two visits, or for the evening.“

“The only Place in the tuscan city Volterra, where you get beer standing out of the boring italian standardbrews. Dont be shy and come in. On the first look it might not be what you expected, cause kitchen’s right after the entrace and people are standing in your way. Step inside and ask for a table. The staff is speaking italian, english and french. We had the honor with francesco. The charismatic waiter, cook and sommelier will give you explainings to their menu and of course beers. Last one is availeble in bottles from diverse countries of the planet and on tap from brewdog, Ayinger, Lupulus and from their own excellent beer "La Leonardo". Food was delicious. We had a mountainly plate of mixed fried stuff, which is obviously the right thing to get someone back in his shoes after several Leonardos. Pasta was epic, because the chef, Mama, she has the typical wonderful italian mama-skills in the kitchen. We ordered Gnocci in Safronsauce and Ravioli in Ricotta-Spinach Sauce and filling in a manner, you would never expect on the first look inside the pub. Friedly, tasty, enjoayable and a real insider tipp. Give it a try.“
