“Run buy the guys from local Bellanert brewery, this place is just what Bailleul needed. Interesting beer selection at very reasonable prices for France. Nice ambiance full of local beer lovers. Good snacks available. Makes a night in Bailleul a valid prospect.“

“Small cafe-bar run by the local Bellenaert brewery guys, located on the main square in Bailleul, though hidden a little in a corner, with the words TRADITION REBELLION above the doorway. Fairly basic modern craft bar in feel there are 6 beers on tap, featuring 5 Bellenaert beers and 1 guest, with a clipboard of around 20 bottles. Very helpful English speaking chap behind the bar who enthuiastically explained each beer. 25cl / 50cl pours with the option of a 4 beer flight of smaller samples which i opted for, arriving with a small bowl of barley malt to munch on (!). Assorted post-hardcore rock and punk in the background. Pâté and rillette boards on offer. Its early days here (open just two months) and though Bailleul is fairly lively compared to other towns in the region time will tell whether locals will take to such a basic modern craft concept with limited choice. I personally cant help thinking a wider beer selection, including some classic Belgian options, kriek etc plus a few games and pictures on the wall could help appeal to a broader crowd. Still, nice place & great beer. Take-outs & growlers available at reasonable prices.“
