58 /100 Restaurant Le Roosevelt (Restaurant) UTAH BEACH Located just across the walkway from the Utah Beach museum. Basically the only place to get a drink there. Basically it’s a gift store in front and bar at the back with the big terrace on the side. To be fair not much of the selection, but the interior is worthy the visit. Decorated in an old WWII style, filled with signatures of war veterans on the bad and tables. |
42 /100 Restaurant Le Roosevelt (Restaurant) UTAH BEACH Right across the street from the memorial and the museum, this is kind of a crossover of a giftshop/museum/cafe with loads of WW2 pictures, equipment and veteran quotes on the walls. 2 or 3 taps, and some bottles with Leffe Blond being the best option. Add to that D-day wine, cider, beer, calvados, you name it. Somewhat pricy, but kindoff fun to have a look at. |
56 /100 Restaurant Le Roosevelt (Restaurant) UTAH BEACH If you’re at Utah Beach, stop by. The bar is past the gift shop, and all veterans are allowed to sign the bar. Lots of cool signatures and quotes to read. The beers are typical for the area; the one new one I found was the Cuvee du D-Day, which is sold in a corked 75 cl for about 4 Euros. |
