| 86 /100 4 AVENUE DE LA MER “Next to the beach of Saint Jean-de-Monts ! What a great surprise to find a brewpub there :) They proposed 8 beers on tap with tasting formula (4 X 12.5cL). I visited this brewpub on Tuesday and Wednesday (29-30/6/2021). Great team. Ok good price. I enjoyed that the styles were interesting (cream ale (!)/witbier/IPA/stout/simmer ale/belgian saison/american amber ale/DIPA) and the beers in classic styles (stout/amber ale) were really very good. The last day they offered me their last brew (a mango pale ale).“ |
| 66 /100 Cargo Beer (Bar) 3 AVENUE DES DEMOISELLES “Visited on June 29, 2021. Modern bar (high ceiling) ; big TV screen. Center of Saint-Jean-de-Monts. 8 beers on tap (Belgian classics, a local beer from Melusine, a few French craft beer (Gallia)). Maybe 80 beers (Belgian industrial classics + Trappists+ some French ales). Craft beer revolution didn't really come here. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the fact that they added some local beers on the beer menue (Mélusine). If you are a beer geek you might be disappointed even if I can imagine it's a nice place to share cocktails or beers with friends. I found a beer from Gallia West IPA ! Friendly efficient staff.
