“Tried lager (not good) and IPA (estery, little hops, but drinkable). Close to the lake, but the view is mostly at the plaza. Nice if you like those kind of trendy restaurants, but wouldn't recommend it as a craft beer place. Still more interesting than the other restaurants here through. Sorry it this rec is a little harsh, but this place got here hiest ranking (only few people, I know) and I feel disappointed.“

“Been by twice and they have most of the Teerenpeli assortment. A hip and flashy new bar but not very much people when I been there on afternoons in the middle of the summer. Still slow service. Prices as always in Finland rather high. The beer is OK but no winners in a beer competition.“

“Cosy interior. Visited wednesday afternoon and there was quite many beer drinkers. Friendly staff. 16 taps, 12 own beers and 4 visitor taps. Also some brewdog and denmark bottles. Maybe best beer place in lahti.“

“A middle of the day visit while waiting for the train, so pretty quiet. Rather stylish decoration, not kitchy. The bartender was friendly, was able make recommendations of their local brews. About a dozen of their own beers on tap, bottle selection seemed to contain only very common things. Nice place to drop by for a couple of beers and newspapers.“

“Nice place in central Lahti, brewpub. Teerenpeli’s own beers in 8 taps and two-three visitor taps. Some typical bottles also. Good service. Nice patio.“

“Last visits in 2006. Teerenpeli used to be the only place in Lahti where to have some German, Belgian and some other beers in a pub. Their own beers where basically mimics of the famous German or Czech beers. The atmosphere in the pub was ok, however the customers tend to be little older middle aged and little boring (unless they decide to fight in front of my table like on my last visit). Beer prices are expensive. Knowing Finnish drinking culture not a surprise. Food offer was some sandwiches for ridiculously high price.“

“The place is cozy but the selection is small. The fact that it´s good place to try Teerenpeli beers saves a lot. Good place but there´s just something missing in the vibe. Maybe the place is too fancy for me. I like the fact that there are gigs and standup shows also. And shows have high quality music usually.“

“Nice place also on a rainy day. When it rains I´ll take a walk there and have myself a dram and coffee. On a sunny summer day it´s an excelent place with a decent view to the Lake Vesijärvi. Though when it´s sunny the place is also too crowded. The staff is friendly but often very busy. Out of the many bars in the Lahti harbour I would recommend this one although it don´t have the best view. Teerenpeli beers are definately worth trying.“

“This used to be the best place to get some slightly interesting beers in Lahti. Now there’s also Alexin Panimo, haven’t been there yet so we’ll see which one is the best brewpub in town. Quite cozy place with quite steady selection of their own brews. 11 beers on tap (3 non-Teerenpeli). Small patio. It’s usually quite crowded (pub I mean). Not cheap. Some snacks, cider (also on tap) and whisky also available.“

“Nice looking brewpub at Lahti. I really like the interior and decoration. Service is good, but selection is boring. Good place to taste their own brews (I just wish there is more variety to their brews).. Overall nice and cozy, but lacks of selection.“

“Nice place, form me the best in Lahti. During our visit they had app 20 beers on tap and bottles.Ii tried their Sahti for first time. Really good place.“

“On a good sunny day this boat bar is the perfect place to be and try the place’s own brews and whisky. Whisky selection has some good normal whisks as laphro... beer selection quite small. but most of them are Teerenpeli’s own beers which are truly worth trying. Also the blueberry cider has to be tried. Good big patio, small inside. extended patio on ground. Sulami toasts are also a good snack (quite big actually for a big hunger) to acompany the beers. :) Recommended on a sunny day in Lahti.“

“Three different sections/levels a glass walled patio where you can sit even in the winter. lowest level with entrance and bar is divided in two. upper level with couches and chairs divided with a wall. You can discuss without shouting and enjoy a good beer of their own or one their imports Best place in Lahti maybe. It’s being renowated 2weeks in april and opens 29.4.2008“
