“Industrial park location ... nice inside and spacious. Go there right after they opened at 3pm and was suprised how many people where there. 3 big BA beers on tap and a couple of Hazy's I got. I really liked this place and is now on my list of places to re-visit when I'm in the area.“

“I mean ... I know they're getting a lot of love but I just wasn't that impressed with their beers. Hazy too spicy, lagers a bit bland / unsubtle. Perfectly acceptable beer and I might've just been there on a bad day - it's certainly popular enough.“

“Located in an industrial park. Industrial chic decor. Very good beer and good service. Worth a visit.“

“Located on the second floor of an old industrial building in downtown New Britain. I like the old industrial chic setting. Lots of old wood and exposed structural beams. Pretty solid selection of beers on tap, as well as cans of one of their beers the day I visited. The food is limited to personal sized pizzas, but they are quite good. Definitely worth a stop!“

“A decent selection for a store that has most of their space devoted to wine. Definitely seems like they sell more cases than craft brews, but they get cool stuff. The people there are usually pretty helpful. Above average store for the area.“

“Connecticut is something of a beer desert which is to say a store like this, which would have a very mediocre selection by Maryland or NC standards, is pretty solid by new Jersey or Connecticut standards. Like a lot of Northeast package stores they hardly feature beer and it’s probably been a few decades since they last updated the decor which means freshness is always a concern. They had a very small pick six section but a lot of bombers and six packs of mostly local and regional craft with a few Belgians and English sneaking in. Like I say it’s not a destination place, but it could be a lot worse.“

“Stopped here for dinner with some friends. This is a German themed restaurant with that serves 1/2 liter and 1 liter German draught beers. The food is pricey, but you get 4 full courses with it and while they offer a decent amount of German entrees, they also have seafood, some steaks, and other entrees for the folks who don’t want German cuisine. They announce to the whole place when you order a liter or a boot and do a cheer. There’s also a biergarden that they are in the process of finishing. Good service and a fun atmosphere. They have funny hats for the kids.“

“Located conveniently right off route 9, this CT Bev has an expansive selection of both American and Imports. Rarities include: De Proef Signature, JW Lees Harvest 2005 on sale, Old Dubh 18, NE Stout Trouper, all the "big" beers brewed in NE (except Hooker’s special line), and a good amount of Smutty. Sorry that sounds random -- I am doing it from the top of my head -- but this place does have quite a selection. My objection: there is little rhyme or reason to what they do or don’t bring in. You might find just one beer from a micro line (for instance there is a lone Hitachino Espresso Stout), then a whole lineup from another random one (Fort Collins). Go and see for yourself, I promise there will be something for you!“

“Excellent selection in every style. Prices are not bad either and most everything is available as a single for sampling. If you’re in the area give them a visit you;ll surely find something making it worth the trip.“

“So I must admit, I helped compose the rating below, but I am a second individual, so I can rate it too, eh? Seeing as I have very little to add to the rating below, I will say that I’m surprised this place has escaped attention on here until now because it is as far as I’ve seen the second best beer store in the Greater Hartford Area. No active members from my old stomping grounds?“

“I added this place! It’s the best CBM, with the best selection. VERY good pricing too, compared to other stores in the area. One row each of domestic and import brews and a seasonal rack. Also lots of random sales, most of which are pretty legit (I picked up some 2006 Bigfoot a couple months ago, also Southampton 750s that improve with age were also on sale). Pretty good selection. For domestics: Allagash (including the special releases), Southern Tier, Rogue, Avery, Ommegang, lots of local and some regional beers. For imports: Rochefort, Achel, McChouffe, Schlenkerla, JW Lees, De Ranke, and more. Excellent case selection too (probably in the best in CT). Check it out!!“
