“One of my favourite pubs in Cornwall and always visit. Always a good beer selection with 3-4 own beers and 3 guests on, quality always brilliant. Love the quirky interior and the food is great, the local caught battered cod is fantastic. Brewery shop across the road and beautiful Cove nearby. Busy in summer months.“

“An excellent brewpub in a remote location, lots of choice at the bar, a good relaxed atmosphere, though an odd mish mash of new and old through the pub. Relaxing and calm.. Recommended.“

“A cosy and homely brewpub in the creek leading from St Agnes to the tiny stone quay. Driftwood Spars has a lot going for it – a traditional, whitewashed building, an attractive location, its own brewery and hotel accommodation too. There are nine hand pumps offering their own beers and guests in equal measure. It’s a solidly built old place, no doubt a necessity in these parts where huge breakers crash with booming regularity into the cliffs and rocks at the bottom of the creek. It has stone walls, low beams and nautical décor in the main bar downstairs. Upstairs there’s a function room, a modern breakfast room and another bar with squashy sofas and staircase up to a little gallery level with the rafters of the high pitched roof. “Gorgeous location, although you’ll probably sit inside. Lots of house beers and they tend to be pretty well made. One of the key beer stops in Cornwall, and a pleasant pub, too.“

“Cozy pub, great beers (3 house pumps, 3 guest pumps), friendly service, stunning scenery. Fireplace in winter. Bottles to go were not as fresh, stick with the hand pumps :)“
