62 /100 Sir Nigel Gresley (JDW) (Bar) MARKET STREET At the top end of the smallish town centre of an adequate size, this Wetherspoon pub is accessed from the main pedestrianised street and occupies a former brick pub building. The bar is located in the centre of the pub and its most notable feature is the conservatory extension to the side of the building which allows pedestrians in the alleyway to stare at you whilst you dine or sup the latest rotated ales which should include some from local breweries. It all looks a bit cheap though and certainly out of place when compared other pubs in this chain which have had money pumped into them to give them a fine furnished finish. |
