| 66 /100 Square and Compasses (Bar) FULLER STREET “One of those ’in the middle of nowhere’ places in deep Essex. A lovely old timber framed pub. They run a restaurant here and the food is the best I’ve had in Essex, very very nice indeed and quite reasonable by 2011 prices. Lots of nice details like home made chutney etc. Service was efficient and friendly. Beer wise there was not much to choose from but there were a couple of new beers for me here on Cask (Nethergate and Village Brewer), both in very good condition. Well worth a visit but you really owe it to yourself to eat here.“ |
