“Packed when we went here, but it was Christmas Eve. 3 handpulls of which one was a tick, and 8+ keg, largely their own less-interesting-looking (but ticky, and we found it elsewhere so no harm in skipping it here) craft brand. Service was super quick, and, as we didn't have a seat, so was our ticking. My sister was encamped in the White Lion opposite anyway, so this was always designed to be a swifty. Noise levels matched the fullness and diminished the experience somewhat, and it just had the feel of a noisy pub anyway. I'm sure you can find some agro if you come on the right night - or bring your own! However, I don't want to damn this - as the AK Mild we had draught were was absolutely delicious, on perfect form, and a proper mild. If anything, it was a shame to rush it, but it did have the flipside of being so goddamn easy to drink. I don't think it lasted more than a minute. Chris was surprised to see us return so quickly!“

“Cosy little place just off the side of the market area, lovely old-school English feel, pale wood, kinda classic Nicholsons. To be honest, it's below par for the chain, but the chain is normally excellent, so that's a high bar. Found only a couple of keg ticks; none of the 5 real ale were ticks. Probably the best drink in the pub was the mulled cider, which really fit the Christmas Eve mood! (Note: Perhaps just by luck, we did manage to almost immediately get a seat here on chrissy eve; it seems it's a place people only briefly stop at, rather than having long seshes. So don't despair.) Staff were competent. Certainly fit this into a crawl, in particular as there's a McMullen right opposite (which was impossible to sit down in).“

“Необычное место для Лондонского паба. Потолки в заведение выше чем при Сталине. Представлен весь спектр Бельгийского пива. Правда очень дорого. Из выбора не нашел чего то редкого, но по отзывам видел что такие бутылочки парой сюда залетают. Минус что было очень громко и овер людно. Но все равно место хорошее.“

“Very decent BD bar, smack in the middle of it all. I don't get here often as it's not an area I find myself in often, and the bar doesn't have much to offer above and beyond any other BD bar. Typically has a mix of BD beers, craft breweries from around the UK, a sprinkling of other European offerings. Prices are toppy, as they are at other BD spots. Friendly enough service. Not a destination bar but a good option for the area.“

“Busy place on a Saturday aft, with no tables left but a couple of seats at an upstairs bar. Fairly small for a Brewdog. Has the usual Brewdog selection but not as many guest offering. Good though would not go out of my way.“

“Самый шумный Брюдог. Просто нерепльное количество людей, что делает разгвор с друзьями почти невозможным. При этом довольно трудно сесть, можно ждать до часа. Радует действительно большой выбор пива. Хороший стаф на двух этажах. Можно сходить но только если заказал стол заранее.“

“Loved this place, lots of bottles in cabinets. Multi leveled, like a labyrint getting around with a industrial feeling. Good selection of Porterhouse and some other beers. They also show Premier League games(so very handy if you want good beers while watching games). Good food as well.“

“Decent BrewDog, as judged simply by the more exciting nature of the taplist compared to other BrewDog locations in London. The usual BrewDog decor, with 1/3 pints available of all beers. Staff are very friendly and happy to give free tastes. Nicely designed interior with nice sections and booths for chilling in. Worth a visit if you're in the Covent Garden area.“

“I wondered what had happened to the old Marquis of Granby, the place where Punk really took hold and we had visited often during this time. It looks very different now with Brewdog having knocked it through. There is a long bar on the left as you enter and another bar upstairs, but I didn't visit. The usual range of beers with guests. It's not the place it was but time moves on. It's certainly worth a visit but it is expensive even for this chain.“

“Visited on a Friday evening. Really tasty Burmese food, quite decent value for money. It was great to see that they have some good options on the beer list, including Kernel IPA at a very reasonable £5.50 per bottle (330ml). Also had Partizan and some other craft offerings. It's not a beer destination unto itself but I would happily return to this place for a meal.“

“Faux Canadian sports bar just south of Covent Garden, can imagine it would appeal to Canadian ex-pats and maybe looks authentic (can't comment, never been to The Dominion) but the beer offering was pretty un-Canadian, albeit 2 or 3 beers trying to appear as such (Maple this, Beaver that), and 2 actual Canadian beers on draught were 'currently unavailable' so disappointed a little - was an early afternoon midweek so maybe not experienced at it's zenith, and the kitchen was closed so that really didn't help either!“

“Narrow back street pub dominated on one side by a long bar, tables and bench seating and stools on the other, and all kinds of bric-a-brac all over, pictures everywhere and various brass items. Beer offering a bit basic, London Pride on cask and a Brixton and 2 Meantime on tap, usual lager suspects as well. Nice early midweek afternoon atmosphere, mix of locals and tourists, and not rammed. Beer choice doesn’t inspire a return, but it’s a nice pub“

“Dropped in so that I could tick off a Brodies beer whilst they are still available. Luckily - unlike some other reports - there was one beer on. Otherwise the pubs was busy with tourists and office workers. In fact I'd dropped in a few years ago but not stayed as it was a scrum. Essentially it comes across like a rundown Nicholsons. Well decorated in a traditional style at some stage but now passed it's best. The staff seemed disinterested. No need to return.“

“Visited 12/12/2019. Alleyway location off the Strand, and a proper traditional pub. Quality find considering the area. Beer choice wasn’t amazing but was decent enough with a handful of cask ales available and overall was an excellent stopping off point prior to returning to my station.“

“It's a pretty typical Brewdog location - tons of Brewdog stuff on tap (nothing super rare) and a decent selection of guest taps from the UK (heavier on Scotland), US and Denmark. Bottle fridge for consumption on site with rarer Brewdog stuff as well as some more interesting stuff from the "friends of Brewdog". Wings were quite good, burger and fries were serviceable. There are better places around for beer but this was close and it's perfectly decent. Not super English though.“

“Visited on 8th Aug 2019, typical old London 'corner pub' with high ceilings and bits to see, picture and architecture wise. Touristy place really, but well maintained and pleasant feel to the place. Four hand-pulls and a bank of keg offerings. Only went in because I don't see McMullen beers up in Shropshire and I've enjoyed their AK in the past.“

“Next to Leicester Square station, this small corner pub has a larger dining area upstairs, but if you're just here for a drink peak time space is limited. To be fair they still pack in a good row of cask and a couple of rows of keg on the small corner service area, but it's the current selection from Nicholson's and doesn't vary that much from the handful of other pubs from this chain in the area.“

“Spartan pub, very chain-like without thought, set-up for an ever changing tourist clientele. Sandwiched into the corner of a building with a couple of entrances either side this pub offers up a few Greene King cask ales, and a couple of often seen craft keg options. It's not a place to spend long in.“

“Through a corridor, the eatery this place exists in opens out at its rear with the bar along the wall to the right, and the tables mostly set-up for the limited selection of steak or lobster dining. It's an American bar in design, a restaurant rather than a bar in reality with half a dozen or so spaced out American style keg pumps offering up an often seen selection, with a FourPure ale as the most crafted and most local of the offerings.“

“A dark maze of small seats, sofas and chairs on many split levels around a central bar sporting a long row of keg ales from the Porterhouse selection, a few guests in this form, and several cask ales too, including locally sourced ones. Certainly chain-like, but comfortable enough on the Bank Holiday afternoon I frequented. Has plenty of craft can and bottles in the fridges.“

“On one corner of Cambridge Circus, this is a veritable maze of stairs, corridors and rooms over three floors, although the bar is opposite the main ground floor corner doors so it's easy enough to get their current selection of brews and guest ales. There's lots of seating in varied areas and furnitures. Has a take-out fridge full of cans.“

“Nice bar - plenty of light coming in. Also traffic fumes of course! Good selection of beers here on my few visits. Service can be spotty, on more than one occasion staff have vanished and you have no idea where they have gone or when they are coming back! However they are friendly and one nice chap went to the cellar to check details of which version of a beer we were having - so overall - decent. Can be combined with any number of other bars about town of course, it was only a 10 minute walk from Brewdog Soho. If you have only time for one of those, I would come here. The Soho joint is a bit poky. “

“Spent a lot of time in here in the 2000's when I worked with a plethora of Canadian expats, mostly during Wing Night on Monday, which I believe still exists, and a couple of messy Canada Day celebrations before the council put a stop to the debauchery. A chain bar styling full of things Canadian on the walls and in display cases, the beers available are not that exciting but there's usually a few popular brews from Canada on tap or in bottle that might please somebody. I used to drink the Sleeman's honey a lot when in here.“

“Traditional pub with a very warming appearance, but also a very worn appearance. The decor is pretty interesting, the beers from Brodies not in the greatest condition on my visit in May 2018, but I was only here once so it may have been a one off. There was quite a good selection from the brewer though including seasonal specials.“

“You know what you get at a BrewDog pub. Quite relaxed a not very crowded at my visit. Modern interior and good music. Maybe a bit to loud actually. Two large floors, and the bar is close to the street entrance. Solid tap and bottle selection! I enjoy my time here. If you want a cask ale, just cross the street to Cambridge“

“Corner bar situated on Cambridge Circus / Shaftesbury Ave. Usual industrial vibe inside, a very quirky layout on the ground floor. There is more seating upstairs & downstairs apparently. A Brewdog dominated beer list, I'd like to see more guests but this place is a tourist trap rather than somewhere beer geeks will ever frequent“

“Good central London location on Charing Cross Road at Cambridge Circus rather than actually in Covent Garden. Two floors. On the ground floor they have all the Brewdog beers and upstairs the guest stuff. Nice layout although the standard Brewdog decor is starting to feel a little jaded these days.“

“JULY 2018 update... much the same as before but also offering 'Rivertown' beers. McMullens Pseudo craft arm ... a pils and a pale on keg and a badly kept cask number ... all uninispring but my first visit here in 5 years yielded 5 new ticks ! Have visited the Nags Head a number of times over the years, more so for the occasional McMullen ticks before ’London got it so good TM’ ! Most recent visit Dec ’12 before a works presentation in Covent Garden. Average kind of interior, nothing special but clean enough. The place is usually busy due to its Covent Garden location and on this visit even more so than normal due to its proximity to Christmas. Service tends to hold up well despite the crowds and you don’t have to wait too long as a rule. Clientele is roughly 50% tourist, 40% office and 10% n’eer do well. Beer range on my last visit was 3 McMullens on cask, all in decent nick, but not the most exciting beers. Not worth going out of your way for but if you’re in Covent Garden and feel the urge to tick McMullens then why not. Best avoided after office kick out for ease of service and grabbing a seat!“

“Typical Brewdog decor inside on two levels, lots of seating to be had. Service was okay but selection seemed limited, with a dozen beers only available after 6pm. Most of their common brews were available but if you're looking for something obscure this may not be the place.“

“Visited a couple of times so far since opening ... both late afternoon circa 1600 on a weekday. Typical BD layout and decor with 2 levels and further seats round the back. Selection and service both decent and the online beer list seems reliable. My only gripe with this place is a more than usual transient clientele. On both my visits largeish groups of clueless tourists rocked up and basically got in the way standing in stupid places etc. Great to have another BD bar but not one that will ever likely be a first port of call for me. Useful though in that it's only a 7 or 8 minute walk to BD Soho and also near to CBC Covent Garden.“

“Visited a week ago. A Wednesday lunchtime but not terribly busy. Mixed crowd of tourists and some middle aged guys who looked like fellow tickers. In fact the loudest people in the venue were the shouty staff. Less industrial than some BrewDogs, more black leather diner. OK range of guest beers. Always going to be a plus with its central location, although I think I preferred the nearby Soho branch.“

“Bars on 2 floors, both well staffed, so despite both floors being busy, there was no wait for service. Clientele mainly young, and for some, perhaps somewhat shouty. But as with all Brewdog bars well worth visiting for the beer range. Visited for 2 beers at about 19.00 hrs on Thursday 12/4/18.“
