“Visited on Wednesday 27th January 2016, second stop on Micropub crawl. Got the 96 bus from Crayford which drops off next to Welling’s theatre of dreams. Nice set up with a few tables, quite a small room but there is a little quiet room at the rear with a couple of arm chairs. 3 beers on gravity dispense when we visited but can rise to 4 when busier. Localish beers from Kent brewery and Arundel were decent. Prices around £3.20 a pint. Service friendly and a few locals discussing Welling’s relegation battles. Overall a nice place.“

“Saturday 28th March 2015: popped in here for a couple before the football match (Grimsby Town won 2-0 and we outnumbered the home supporters). Basic front room with a stillage area glassed off from the punters, ask nicely and you’ll get a gravity poured Real Ale: four available on our visit. Behind the stillage is a lounge with seating for five, further back a glass washing facility and the toilet. Friendly and fun, they were pleased to see us even though we were Town fans. Defo go again if we are still in the same footie league again.“

“Micro pub on the main street in Welling and a 5 minute walk from Welling United football ground. 4 gravity casks, no lager. Colourful landlord and a friendly bunch of locals. As with many micropubs it can get very intimate! Worth a visit.“
