62 /100 UNIT 11 (OFF HOPE MILL LANE), LONDON ROAD Visited April '19. Located just outside Stroud on an industrial Estate by the river, took ages to get the right road from the main road with misleading signs, however made it. It's sort of industrial inside, a basic factory with trestle tables and benches lined up. There are outside seating areas too. The staff seem to struggle to understand simple beer orders, you would imagine that if they work for a brewery that only sells its own beers, they would be bothered to learn them. Otherwise everything is fine and dandy, the food was selling really well and there is banter in the air. Well worth a visit. |
76 /100 UNIT 11 (OFF HOPE MILL LANE), LONDON ROAD Visited on 25 March 2017, when it was already busy 15 minutes after opening. Brewery taproom and patio situated just off the main road from Stroud to Cirencester (buses run regularly along this road). The bar itself and a small number of tables are part of the main brewery building, with five Stroud ales available on cask on this occasion, plus three on keg and a number in bottles and cans. A cider is also available. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices good value. There is also a large covered patio and a pizza oven outside. I didn’t eat, but the pizzas looked good. Well worth dropping in on. |
