“An old pub modernised in a rustic style. Nice atmosphere, beer range not changed since Fin’s report. I’m not a great fan of Wye Valley beers but mine was in excellent nick.“

“This is probably just about my favourite pub in Bromyard. We’ve only visited it a couple of times during the weekend of Bromyard Folk Festival, however I guess that this would be a good pub all year round. When we went there was a decent selection of beers and ciders with the likes of Hobsons, Wye Valley and others on the beer front and with good and interesting ciders from Olivers ( a cider & perry which looked to be permanent offerings) and also the less well known Robinsons cider along with another couple of which, Abrahalls was a new one to me. Low ceilings, loads of timber and a friendly welcome. Good pub! Great at festival time as well with Mummers plays and Morris dancing in the tight side alleyway/patio area“

“Have visited here a couple of times over the last two Bromyard Folk Festivals, most recently on Saturday 8th September 2012. Usually three well kept beers from the nearby Wye Valley brewery (its a Wye Valley pub) and I think that they may have a selection of bottles. Beers normally Butty Bach, HPA and Bitter. Friendly place, recently refurbished by the looks of things, garden and patio area. Apparently the only known pub to go by this name in the UK. Just £2.60 a pint as I recall, quite incredible!“
