“My local. Nice ambience to the place. Beer selection on the safe but solid side. Dog friendly. Sport sometimes shown upstairs. Good banter. Should go more often but that's my family life's fault rather than this pub. Won CAMRA County pub of the year 2018, which was unexpected but welcome.“

“Spiffy little micropub on Leicester Road. It has a nice feel, with glass frontage, exposed brickwork and wooden furniture. Eight cask beers are available on gravity. They tend to stick to sessionable beers and traditional English styles, but the beers are good and mainly from microbreweries, some of which were new to me. Camden Town core range and a Bad Seed Hefe available in bottle. I believe the cask beer rotates fairly regularly so worth checking their FB page to see what they have on.“
