“Visited on 31st May 2019 with three others and two dogs. This is a fairly new 'dog friendly' cafe bar with bottles and cans only (about 30, local mostly), no draft beers. Take away or drink in house, 12 or so cooled, most on the shelves alongside coffee bags and jams, etc, etc. Modern layout with a glass frontage onto the street. A bright 'speak easy' sort of place, it had a pleasant vibe. Lovely young lady behind the counter, not a beer buff though.“

“Visited on 11th July 2017 at it’s new location inside the ’Posh’ Courtyard complex on the Settle to Gargrave road ( A65). Small but packed full of booze, wine mostly, plus spirits and Sake. Beer selection not very large, but some surprises to be found, local (ish) Bowland beers took over half of one shelf, the remainder from overseas, more or less. Liked the set up, liked the bloke we spoke to and we also bought some rare wines. A long way from cheap, but the prices are fair for what you get.“

“Visited lunchtime on 5th July 2017 for a light lunch and a pint. Local cask ales on hand pull (5) plus the usual suspects on keg. Beer was in good order, food also good. Friendly proper pub, open plan single roomed place, dogs welcome.“

“A small “boutique” with a good range of bottled beers and high quality wines. Buon Vino is a delightful specialist shop tucked in by the market square in Settle. It’s tiny but packs in a lot of high quality goods - mainly wines but also some interesting beers (for example, Birra del Borgo, Baladin and Amarcord) and those from local breweries (Bowland and Kirkby Lonsdale in particular), which can be ordered by the case or bought in single bottles. The prices were very reasonable and the owner was welcoming and knowledgeable. Fresh coffee is also available. (Visited 21 October 2011).“
