Welcome to San Diego. If you like hops..you'll love the 3 big breweries that call San Diego their home..Stone, Alesmith, and Ballast point are putting out some great beers with that trademark west-coast hoppy flair that I've come to love and these breweries are definitely worth a visit and tour. Pizza Port in Solana beach is also a must visit for some of the greatest brewpub beers and pizza that I've had the opportunity to try. Don't forget about Alpine Beer Company out in East San Diego County either, they are killer too. Although there are tons of brewpubs and decent beer stores all around the city, the following are the very best brewpubs, breweries, and beer stores that san diego has to offer.
