TorbenJensen (2045) - Valby, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2015
Large coarse foam that lasts a long time. Smells although of pine needles and slightly acidic aroma of yeast. The taste varies over easy fruit and pine needles, but taken over quickly by a significant hop bitterness which clearly reflects the IPA content. It is a gem, though perhaps should have been launched as an Imperial IPA instead, for it is its IPA character that shines through most.

Bottle shared at Drinkwater’s Last Stand, Brewdog Shepherds Bush, 18th Oct 2014. Chestnut brown in the glass, fine carbonation, small head. Slight dull hop aroma, some gingerbread, caramel - not as oxidised as feared. Rich raisin, dark fruit, caramel, some marmalade, booze. Glad I got to try it, even if it was perhaps past its best.
