Bottle 50 cl from 3 Sinne in Steffisburg (CH). Brown red with malty aroma, yeast and cocoa butter. The mouth is spicy, notes of honey, nuts and logwood. Soft-bodied rather light. In the finish, slightly tannic and subtle bitterness. Easily digestible.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy brownish amber, minimal head. Yeasty nose with a wealth of nutmeg and other spices. Sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Lightly caramelly with lots of nutmeg and cellary marzipan. Low bitterness.

Aroma: Orange peel, clove, a huge amount of mothballs, fennel, paté, wort, sulphur and cress showing up- strange and unpleasant. Flavor and palate: Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Average carbonation. Slight astringency. Overripe orange, a lot of clove and fennel showing up. Good balance. Lovely long spicy finish which is reminiscent of wormwood and clove. Overall impression: Remarkably pleasant taste; the aroma wasn’t inviting or pleasant at all. Thanks a lot Bov!

from beer shop 3 Sinne - cloudy amber-brown colour with a little beige foam left; solid spicy aroma (ginger and cloves come to mind) with notes of honey in the background; moderate carbonation and a decent malt body; gentle bitterness before a long spicy and honeyish aftertaste - really tastes like Xmas! A very nice one
