COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
"Bootleg" or "bootlegging" usually refers to illegally producing, transporting and/or selling alcohol; the terms draws from the act of hiding flasks of liquor in the legging of one’s boot.

Gold coloured California Common style beer, lightly spiced with coriander and cane sugar.

Inspired by stories of the Prohibition era, and by the way in which this project came to life (in secrecy, without the approval of the company direction), we decided to name this beer "Bootlegger".

Starting from malted barley and a small amount of wheat, we add Amarillo, Perle and East Kent Goldings hops for bitterness and taste.

The use of lager yeast for the fermentation, brought to a higher temperature (25 C) complements it’s unique taste. The distinctive bitter aroma and the strong carbonation contribute in making it pleasantly refreshing.
