COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Sour characteristics come to the fore in this release, foreshadowed by the tart, winey aroma. Notes of cherry, chocolate, olive brine, and leather give way to a subtle hint of funk and a dry, clean finish.

750 ml. Tart, metallic. Cherries lemons and berries. Bit of oxidation. Thinking this one was past its prime.

750ml bottle shared thanks to Lukaduke for pulling this one out of the cellar stash! pours semi clear rusty brown red with medium head. Nose is musty earthy dark cherry fruit and old damp leather. Nice complexity of tart vinous berry and cherry, musty wood and grape, damp wood. Finishes fairly dry with some funky tart fruit, earthy barrel, forest wood and dark cherry wine spice. Acidity still nicely balanced. Nice stuff!

Bottle, aged nicely. It poured a cloudy orange color with a white head. The aroma was of cherry, funk, chocolate and wood. The taste was similar to the aroma with more tartness and malts with an awesome sour finish. Good stuff.

Backlog. Small taste of a 750 ml bottle last Saturday night. Funky, sour and fruity with a light mustiness. Held up pretty well.

"Ho-lee-crap. Did NOT expect this! A wonderful; marriage of tart funky fruit and bourbon. Carbonation high, but just right for the style. Dances on your tongue. Dark and light fruit, wine-like sourness, and some vanilla bourbon sweetness and a hint of pepper. What a delicious brew. Didn’t know Boulevard could do wild like this."

Pours copper brown with thin fizz. Picking up more of the lacto than brett on this one. Great sour cherry notes dominate. Not getting any perceptible bourbon. Puckeringly sour. Dryish finish.
