UPDATED: JUL 7, 2020 [Can (12oz)] Pours a deep copper-gold with a large long-lasting frothy off-white head. Lots of lacing. Slightly mild but nice (7+) aroma is hoppy and bready with just a hint of alcohol. Malty and hoppy flavour with some fruit (7+), alcohol and a long, big bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good and surprisingly easy to drink for 10%.

UPDATED: FEB 6, 2020 Pours copper bronze with a big foamy head that last wells and leaves ample lacing; melon, stone fruits, citrus and fruitcake on the nose; bitter oily palate with alcohol present in the finish.

UPDATED: DEC 6, 2019 Couleur ambrée bien limpide. Mousse généreuse et indestructible. Nez sur les céréales puis sur le miel. En bouche c'est l'inverse : on est d'abord sur des notes de miel puis de céréales. La finale est sèche et bien amère avec un petit quelque chose de boisé, de caramel et de noix. Pas très Barley Wine dans l'âme je trouve, ce qui fait que je suis plutôt déçu pour le coup...

UPDATED: NOV 29, 2019 Poured in a snifter. Translucent Amber color with a off-white head. It has a fruity aroma with notes of dark fruits and raisins. The finish is malty. Warming as a good winter seasonal.

UPDATED: SEP 28, 2019 Bottle. Vintage 2010. It pours bit hazy with a off white head. The aroma is toasted malty with notes of toffee, light prune, raisin and light nuts. Some dark chocolate. The flavor is sweet and malty bitter. Great!

UPDATED: MAY 30, 2019 12oz bottle from Bottle Shock in Port St Lucie West, cellared 6 months and served at cellar temperature. Pours a copper amber with an off-orange head leaving a consistent lace. Aroma has sweet malts, stone & sweet fruits, nuts, and citrus, led by oranges. Taste is sweet malty, citrusy hoppy, some stone fruits, and tangy pine. Strongly sweet and strongly hoppy. A nice blend. Medium to full bodied, there is some alcohol presence, and the blend is quite good. Finishes to the sweet side of that bitter-sweet scale. But there is a battle, with the very strong hops. This is very tasty, with a lot of components & character. 15.1

UPDATED: APR 20, 2019 Taster at the Craft Bar in Destin. Bright, ruby color, with a small, tan head. Pine and butterscotch, with some floral hops and rye. Sweet and syrupy, with a sharp bitterness. Thick and quality.
