from the brewery - hazy very dark almost black beer with a solid and persistent creamy beige foam; roasted aroma of ashes and coffee, notes of vanilla underneath; some weird flowery notes too; a fair carbonation with some sweetness below; a good malt backbone; finishes dry and with a tart astringent bitterness; more roasted chocolatey and coffeish notes in the finish
