Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2018 - Day 3 🇬🇧 [ Great British Beer Festival 2018 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.

[ As Arran Brewery Dug - IPA ].
ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light to moderate hoppy, perfume, light citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, fruity malt, pale malt, perfume - flowers, fruity - peach, light citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180809]

UPDATED: DEC 23, 2018 Sample@GBBF2018, London, with the Malmö crew - golden coloured pour with a white head. Citrus fruity and pale malty, medium to light body, touch of spicy hop bite into the grassy and floral hoppy close.

@GBBF - clear golden beer with a chaotic foam left; light citrusy, peachy and flowery aroma; medium-bodied, moderate carbonation, lively and tasty palate, quite bitter; fruit and light bready finish

Cask at GBBF 2018, Kensington Olympia. Very pale golden. Floral hop aroma. Citrus and zesty flavour. Fairly muted.

[10161-20180226] Cask. Mild grassy grains aroma. Clear, pale orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Bitter grassy leaf hops flavour. Medium body. Good. (6/3/6/3/13) 3.1

2018-02-26. Crisp golden body, modest creamy beige head and lace. 3++ Aroma is mild, light fruit. Flavour is pleasant, mild bitterness throughout, pleasant fruit, touch of citrus, muted biscuity touches to the malt. Gains a bit of a buttery caramel quality as it warms. Smooth average bodied palate, soft to low carbonation. Mild but rather pleasant. 7/3-4/7/3/14-15 On cask at Brecon Tap, Brecon.

Cask @ Edward Wylie. Clear golden coloured with a white head. Nose is light biscuit, caramel, light fruity. Flavour is caramel malts, biscuit, some fruits. Really nothing to do with an ipa and poorly done anyway.

Cask at Congress, Longton. Pours golden with white head. If you want to know what the folk of Arran do with their excess cardboard here is the answer. Sweet citrus start with a wet cardboard finish. Horrid.

Cask at the standing order. Pours clear golden, nose is floral, toffee, taste is quite dry and bitter, sweet toffee.

30.4.2015. Cask at JDW Foot of the Walk. Pours clear golden. Nose is mild grain, malts and hops. Taste is some fruits, pineapple, malts turning into strange bitterness and washing detergent. Probably not as it should be.
