COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A collaboration with the Fabulous Brodies Beers of London, in true Brodies style we brewed a fruity twist on a modern classic . An all pale malt body and balanced bitterness creates the background to let the fruit shine. We added loads of richly sweet mangos in the boil and again in fermentation to accentuate the tropical fruity character of the Citra hops added in the hop back and in conditioning. Deeply fruity yet deliciously crisp and satisfying, all hail The Great Alphonso!

250 ml. draft @ Beerlovers Bar. Hazy orange, pretty big creamy white head. Nose is doughy, peel, very chalky, milky, far too bitter, chalky, plaster, almost chemical. Taste is overly chalky, plaster, unpleasant, peel, dough, lingering chalk, chemical, whatever mango there is in here could have just as easily come from the hops, waste of fruit,... Whole is far too chalky, dry chalk, plaster, chemical,... Not too enjoyable, became less enjoyable as I drank it, not a fan of this one, Brett version was pretty decent.
