UPDATED: DEC 3, 2018 500ml bottle, 2018 vintage. Roasted malt aroma with notes of vanilla, chocolate, bourbon and oak. Pours deep brown with a thin mocha brown head that has good retention and some lacing. Starts with rich roasted malt and chocolate flavors as well as a rich, full body and smooth mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with wonderful flavors of vanilla, bourbon and oak. Wonderful variant on this Baltic Porter.

2018/08/31 - Pours a dark brown/be black oldie with a foamy tan head that slowly dissipates and leaves minimal lacing. Aroma is chocolate, toffee, bready notes, vanilla, figs and lager yeast. Taste is chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, toffee, wood, light whisky, and bready notes. Mouthfeel is medium and oily with soft carbonation and a drying, lightly toasty, warming finish. Smooth and delicious. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: AUG 9, 2018 Bottle shared at Lucky Bamboo share. Pours a deep brown to black with a small beige head that dissipates. Vanilla nose with bourbon and chocolate notes. Medium to full body with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. Flavors meld really well, with the vanilla coming in but not overwhelming. Very balanced with a lingering bourbon chocolate finish.

Deep dark brown under a thin off white cap. Bright whiskeyed nose that’s woody and lightly vanilla’d And chocolaty. Bold full flavor that’s dark and roasty and sweet with big whiskey warmth and a sweet vanilla finish. A little two dimentional but tasty all the same.

Bottle at RBSG. Another nice addition to the series, vanilla being a bit more boozy than the rest. Still sweet, a but tangy.
