UPDATED: MAY 15, 2023 Bottled. Copper colour, mediumsized creamy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is grapefruits, some herbal, grassy and mildly sweet elements. Flavour is grapefruits, crystal malty sweetness, citrus and some grassy tones. Somewhat bitter floral and wooden tones in the aftertaste.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy copper colour, creamy head. Toasty grapefruit aroma. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Quite heavy with flavours of crystal malt. citrus and caramel. Mid bitter finish.

Hazy dark amber color, with compact medium sized head. Nice aroma of caramel and resiny hops, a bit dusty (terreaux), but also with a lemon touch; and later a bit earthy/animal; multi-layered. Good caramel flavor, moderate sweetness, not cloying; full bodied, with a smooth mouthfeel; strong bitterness, with rather high resiny content and less fruity content, but well blended with the rest; an impression of roasted nuts in the end; the final is long, a bit dirty and roasty.
Very enjoyable, harmonious example of the style.

courtesy of Tom Strickler - cloudy ruby-brown beer with a persistent beige foam; correct lacework; nice play between red fruity hops and a light toasted maltiness; some spicy notes come through as the beer gets warmer; full-bodied and with a velvety palate; solidly bitter; long hoppy fruity finish with more malty tones and a very long lasting bitterness; quite dry - delicious
