UPDATED: OCT 16, 2023 Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 28, 2023. Aroma is moderately hop forward with notes of tropical citrus, passion fruit and mango. Light dank, oily notes. Faint bready malt notes with hints of alcohol. Pours a very clear, pale, yellow gold with a large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Medium high lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and faint alcohol notes. Medium light hop notes of tropical citrus, grapefruit and hints of passion fruit. Fairly dry finish with a bit of a water note. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid session IPA. Some.nice hop aroma and flavor with an assertive bitterness. Not much malt character but enough to carry the bitterness and light alcohol notes.

UPDATED: OCT 15, 2022 Gold and pale. Medium head. Toasty and piney hop, light grapefruit. Light body but still some clean pale malt. Nice balance and great drinkability.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2022 Pale golden blonde pour with a thick frothy white head and lots of sticky lacing ….. aroma of tropical fruits, pineapple, pine, citrusy grapefruit and orange, rindy and dank notes with caramel malts ….. taste is of bitter rindy grapefruit, pine, juicy orange, caramel malts, dank and tropical with pineapple sticking out the most ….. rindy, dry and bitter hops on the back end and into the finish ….. finish is bitter, dry and of rindy grapefruit, pine, orange and caramel malts …. Intense for a session, IBU’s are up there, oily mouthfeel and medium bodied …. Sessionable and delicious

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2021 Beefy for a session. Light but nice lacing and keeps nice mouthfeel. Could easily pass as a hop heavy IPA from a non loved SoCal brewery. Somehow dry for a session, so they know what they are doing. a bit of skunk and submission in the aroma reflecting it isn't steam rolling the style with alcohol. Brilliant for style. Good for beer in a glass

UPDATED: NOV 8, 2020 Not usually wanting a session but needed to go light. Tastes quite a bit like the swami to me but less bitter. Easy. Good taste.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2020 Ar: Dense orange pith and pine resin; lemon and clean, light malt; oily grapefruit rind. Ap: Pale gold and hazy; large white head with very good retention, receding slowly as an air cap of big-bubbled foam. T: Big lemon, pine, and grapefruit-rind hop flavors up front; low sweetness; a bit of rose; bitterness is medium-high and fairly clean; more pine and citrus on the finish. M: Medium body with high carbonation; dry finish. O: A lot of aroma and flavor packed into a small beer; very good.

UPDATED: JUN 26, 2020 Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours hazy yellow with a lasting, small, frothy, white head. Aroma of young cheese, apricot, unripe tangerine, lime, turnip, kitchen herbs. Taste has sweetish tangerine, apple & peach along sour lime & wheat accents, bitter earthy herbs kick in on a soft breadcrust- & cracker-like maltiness, ending dry, earthy hoppy, with more 'noble' yeast & yellow fruit. Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Complex SIPA; endlessly drinkable.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2020 On tap at Pizza Port Solana, Solana Beach, California, USA (back in Oct 2006). My old notes say, hazy golden/yellow coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, citrus, orange, grapefruit aroma and taste. Bitter finale, decent effort.

UPDATED: MAR 10, 2020 From can (Pkgd Sept'19) in IPA glass. Pours dusty gold w/billowing frothy white head, aroma of pine, pineapple, grapefruit. Soft creamy mouthfeel w/extended bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable with curry
