Tap @ himmeriget. Pour pitch black, with a small khaki White head. Umpf. Pretty darn bourbon goodness In this biscotti break. Vanilla, chocolate, brownie goodies, slight nutty notes. The bourbon barrel does wonders with this. Integrated beautifully, with the perfects og ballances. Taste is pretty darn sweet, with a very balancing bitterness to it. Semi full bodied, with a rather flat carbonation. This really is balanced, with the bourbon as a prominent player.

Pours black into a snifter. Mocha head with medium retention recedes to mottle surface. Dark chocolate, oak and espresso aromas. Thin to medium bodied with warm sweet chocolate sauce and dry oak upfront turning to mild smoky bourbon in the lasting finish.

Bottle share, thanks to Steve. Deep brown pour with a thin beige head. The aroma is decadent; this one really caught my attention. Huge notes of roasted malts, oak, vanilla, and bourbon. Big flavors, lots of boozy sweetness with a little bittersweet balance. Cocoa, bourbon, vanilla, and seemingly crème brulee. Outstanding, one of the best in a night of great beers.

A dark khaki, short, frothy head temporarily crowns a black body with mahogany trim, falling glass staining and dots of lace

Mild intensity, blueberry soaked whiskey fudge with accents of dried dark fruit and smoke, undertones of caramel and nutty oak barrel conjuring marshmallow... well balanced sweetness, bitterness, and spirit on a clean and mostly lean medium-light body leading to residuals with medium duration of the previously mentioned components... quite light and easy going with mild complexity while also managing to be complimentary enough to be enjoyable, overpriced

Capped 22 oz bottle purchased day of most recent KC release, consumed after about one week, served at 50° into Orrefors Difference Porter

Bottle at the End of an Era tasting at ABC Beers, Den Haag, courtesy of Jeroen. Poured a dark brown colour with a frothy round tan head. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich sweet malt, coffee chocolate, woody bourbon palate. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
