UPDATED: APR 5, 2024 On tap at Macgregor's. Pours black with a tiny beige head & little lacing. The aroma is robust with bourbon & booze. The flavor is similar to the utopias version with some sherry, brandy thing going on upfront but making it more of a sipper.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2023 Bottle that was sat on for a couple years. Dark pour, still got some good head. Lots of roast, cocoa and a good complementing bourbon flavor. Super rich and boozy. Unlike the Utopias version I had the day before, this one isn't hiding the alcohol. Still, quite delicious.

Thanks GoT! Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Aroma is roasted, bourbon alcoholic, some prunes. Full-bodied. Roasted, a bit perfumic flavour, strong alcohol, bourbon. Quite interesting version, not like normal WWS.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2023 355ml bottle. PBF XIII. Thx GodOfThunder! Poured black in color, not much head. Bourbon plums, alcohol and warmth. Sweetness and some perfumy/lavendel notes. Full bodied. Elegant.

UPDATED: SEP 1, 2023 Bottle@PBF XIII (thanks GodOfThunder). Close to pitch black colour, small head. Aroma is plum, some nutty, and some alcohol tones. Flavour is plum, nutty, some alcohol and chocolaty tones with some really sweet sherryish tones.

UPDATED: MAR 29, 2023 Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a dark brown foamy head with light retention and light lacing. Aroma of nice barrel-aged notes with some Bourbon notes with some light vanilla and woody notes, nice black chocolate malt notes with dry woody notes. Taste is also dominated by barrel-aged notes with some Bourbon and vanilla notes with some rich black chocolate notes with woody finish with light residual sugar notes. Body is above average with a nice texture and good carbonation with some apparent alcohol. Solid barrel-aged stout.

UPDATED: JUL 29, 2022 Bottle from DFH 2013. Dark brown with minimal head. Aroma is bourbon, booze, raisin, prune, dark chocolate. Medium sweet, medium tannic and boozy. Dark chocolate and bourbon, dark fruit. Not super thick, low carbonation. Reasonably tasty.

UPDATED: FEB 16, 2022 Pours black with an ultra-thin dark tan head. Aroma is molasses, bourbon, roast and dried fruit. Taste is rich brown sugar and date, moving to wood and roast. Finish is sweet date, roast and bourbon, with some burn.
