The flavor is similar to the utopias version with some sherry, brandy thing going on upfront but making it more of a sipper.
Goodgrief (2859) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - NOV 26, 2023UPDATED: NOV 26, 2023 Bottle that was sat on for a couple years. Dark pour, still got some good head. Lots of roast, cocoa and a good complementing bourbon flavor. Super rich and boozy. Unlike the Utopias version I had the day before, this one isn't hiding the alcohol. Still, quite delicious.

Thanks GoT! Opaque colour, tiny beige head. Aroma is roasted, bourbon alcoholic, some prunes. Full-bodied. Roasted, a bit perfumic flavour, strong alcohol, bourbon. Quite interesting version, not like normal WWS.

Bourbon plums, alcohol and warmth. Sweetness and some perfumy/lavendel notes. Full bodied. Elegant.

Aroma of nice barrel-aged notes with some Bourbon notes with some light vanilla and woody notes, nice black chocolate malt notes with dry woody notes. Taste is also dominated by barrel-aged notes with some Bourbon and vanilla notes with some rich black chocolate notes with woody finish with light residual sugar notes. Body is above average with a nice texture and good carbonation with some apparent alcohol. Solid barrel-aged stout.
