UPDATED: AUG 1, 2022 Monkish 6th Anniversary. Pours a deep red, almost purple, with a pink head. Really nice to look at. This is quite sour, but there's an incredible fruit character here. Tons of jammy and seedy raspberry and blackberry notes. Mild fruit skin tannin and funk as well as some oak. A hint of currant, some red wine, and citrus zest. really nicely done. I just wish it was a touch less sour.
