Bottle shared. Black with small and short lasting dark brown head. Cinnamon, coconut, strong tequila, dark chocolate, vanilla, quite some spicy peppers 🌶. Some molasses, more cinnamon, nice light spices almost like some cocktail, juniper, sweet berries. Over medium sweet, medium bitter. Full bodied with soft sparkly carbonation and over medium chili heat.

(Tap sample @ MBCC 2017 Green Session, Copenhagen) Pours nearly black with a small whitish head. Notes of roasted malt, chocolate, coffee, toasty grain, wet wood, tequila, cinnamon, spicebox, soft to moderate chilies, maybe a little green vegetal feel?, some alcohol. Softly sweet up front, lightly bitter in the back, soft to moderate heat though the tequila feeds into it a bit. Slightly below medium body, soft carbonation. Better than the red wine alongside, a bit less thin and a better match of adjuncts and barrel. That being said, not the best variant either, I think.

4.1
