Sampled on draft this beer poured a murky apricot color with a medium sized foamy white head that left good lacing. The aroma was very faint with chalk and a bit of yeast. The flavor was tartish, musty and yeasty with a faint vague citrus and berry note. Medium length finish. Medium body
courtesy of Antonio Rey - fairly hazy dark orange beer with a long lasting white foam; medicinal aroma, notes of cloves and bread in the front; some fruity tones behind (blueberries if it makes you happy ...); low carbonation; gently acidic, pretty dry and long aftertaste of berries, yeast and cloves - dubious
330 ml bottle from Homocibaris, Barcelona. Cloudy golden. Medium sized white head. Medicinal bready aroma. Blueberries do not leave much, except perhaps a little acidity. Body and mouthfeel is nice, but it’s very dry. Feels a little unbalanced because of the rather odd character. Not particularly harmonic and not a great beer.
Bottle at home from homocibaris opaque dark amber, typical banana esters on nose with perhaps a touch of sharp berries (power of suggestion?) Full bodied, initial touch of clove spice then sweet malt and bananas, did they perhaps use sweetened berry extract? Not particularly noticeable in an otherwise ok weisse. Finishes pretty dry
